INTRODUCTION

Oakbuild Consult Limited is wholly Ghanaian owned firm operating mainly in the Construction Industry. The firm was incorporated five (5) years ago, it is made up of unique team of experience staff people with varying professional, academic and business experience spanning over twenty-three (23) years in the following areas:

  1. Construction Cost Engineers /Quantity Surveyors
  2. Project Managers and Construction Arbitrators
  3. Marketing Managers /Researchers
  4. Corporate Brand Valuators and Analyst
  5. General Design & build Consultancy

HISTORY

Oakbuild Consult Limited is a consultancy firm with office located in Social Security House, Adjabeng Street, Adabraka-Accra. From a humble beginning in the year 2004 the firm which is made up of building professionals have several years of experience in the construction industry. This ranges from professional practice with consultancy firms, business management, site planning and management on mega projects. These include Sakumono and Ashongman Housing Estate in Accra, resettlement of six (6No) towns and villages for mining activities by Goldfields Ghana Limited and Ayamfuri Mining Resources in the Ghana. The experience have been very useful and helpful in getting the members prepared for the challenges ahead.

OPERATIONAL DETAILS

As a new generation firm Oakbuild Consult Limited has internal and external professionals who are deployed on projects depending on the size, complexity and location (either engineering or building projects).

The firm has a proper way of working orders and providing expert knowledge in the built environment. In addition with the consistent analysis approach of executing projects this has harnessed to a better culture we have formed integrated team with other professionals outside the firm to execute mega projects of very specialized nature.

Over the few years of existence, Oakbuild Consult Limited has been involved in a number of projects. This ranges in various aspects of construction activity in many parts of the world from government, quazi-government, private organizations and individuals.

Our mission at Oakbuilt Consult Limited is to:

  1. Provide maximum satisfaction to our clients in the construction industry.
  2. Construct technically sound building and civil works at minimum with in agreed duration to specification and with budget.
  3. Use our professional skills on any project we are given the opportunity to execute
  4. Use our principles of relationship marketing to executing our projects from commencement to completion
  5. Ensure that our clients get good value for their money without compromising on quality.

CORPORATE VISION

Our objective at Oakbuild Consult Limited is to:

  1. Increase our operational capacity by seventy percent (70%) with the next five (5) years into other specialized areas
  2. Diversify our operations from purely building and civil works to other engineering services by the end of 2025

KOFI OBENG-AYIREBI – TEAM LEADER (PROJECT MANAGER)

Mr. Kofi Obeng-Ayirebi, as the Managing Partner/Leader of Oakbuild Consult Consortium, has proven ability in Building and Civil Engineering Construction, Quantity Surveying/Cost Engineering Services, Construction Project Management & Marketing Management and Research, Financial Auditing of Construction Projects and Arbitration.
He is a very effective coordinator and passionate about the work he undertakes. As a Chartered Marketer and Project Management/Procurement practitioner, Quantity Surveyor & Arbitrators (ADR), he has been involved in the preparation of marketing plans and also managed projects for some reputable organizations in Ghana.

Educational Background and Qualification:

Kofi Obeng-Ayirebi is a Fellow Member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (F.GhIS) and Chairman of the Quantity Surveying Division of the GhIS. He is a holder of M.Sc. in Construction Project Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) in Kumasi-Ghana and B.Sc. (Hons) Building Technology from U.S.T. Ghana.
He has a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK), and Certificate in Financial Securities (Ghana Stock Exchange). He also holds a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Management (IPMA – UK).

EDMUND AMOAFO-YEBOAH – PROJECT ACHITECT

Edmund Amoafo-Yeboah is a Professional Architect, and Associate Member of the team of Civil Works and Construction Management Consultants which form OAKBUILD CONSULT CONSORTIUM. His is area of specialization is Architectural Design/Construction Management.
Edmund is a Ghanaian born, and hold BSc. P.G.Dip, Architecture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi-Ghana. He is a professional member of Ghana Institute of Architects (M.GIA) and Executive Member of (ICOMOS) International Council on Monuments and Sites.

WILLIAM GYADU-ASIEDU (DR) – QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Surv. Dr. William Gyadu-Asiedu, is holds B.Sc. in Build Technology and M.Sc. in Construction Management both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST), Ghana. Willie is a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (M.GhIS) and also holds a Graduate Diploma from International Professional Management Association (IPMA) – UK.
As a Quantity Surveyor/Researcher, some of his things he research work include: PhD Thesis, on Assessment of Construction Project Performance in Ghana: Dissertation: Establishing a Data Bank for the Construction Industry locally and internationally. He hold a MBA in Management from University of Liverpool (UOL). He also obtained a Ph.D in Construction Management from the Technology University of Eindhoven (TU/e).

JOSEPH BENJAMIN ESSILFIE – CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Ing. Joseph Benjamin Essilfie is Associate Member of the team of Civil Works and Construction Management Consultants which form OAKBUILD CONSULT CONSORTIUM. His is area of specialization is Structural Design/Construction Management. Ing. Essilfie is a holder of BSc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering and Corporate Member of Ghana Institute of Engineers (M.Gh.I.E). He was the First Order Leader of Industry of Architectural and Civil Engineering (LIACE of National Association of Project Managers of Ghana), (N.A.P.M – GHANA)
Ing. J.B. Essilfie is a Civil/Structural Engineer with well over twenty-five (25) year’s post-qualification experience. He has proven experience in design and supervision of water distribution systems, reinforced concrete structures relating to building, water tanks, bridges culverts and retaining walls.

KWAKU ADU-GYAMFI –PROJECT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Kwaku Adu-Gyamfi is a Ghanaian born Professional Electrical Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (BSc., Eng.) University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana and a Master of Engineering Degree in Micro-wave and Communications (M.Eng.) University of Sheffield, England.
Design, preparation of drawings and tender documents, evaluation, installation supervision, contract administration and handover procedures of systems for: (1) Community and Urban Water/Sewerage System, (2) Office buildings, hospitals, factories, education institutions, new polytechnic/university campuses, lecture hall, stadia, stockyard and warehouses and others.

EVANS MENSAH HERVIE – PROJECT MECHANICAL ENGINEER

EVANS MENSAH HERVIE is a Ghanaian and a Professional Mechanical Engineer and member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (M.Gh.I.E). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc., Eng.) Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana. He also holds MSc. Energy System and Management from the University of Flensburg, Germany.
He has had varied professional experience in the industry and consultancy spanning a period of twelve (12) years. He has handled both local and international projects.
